Michael Brock is a young lawyer. He is thirty-two year old. And he earns much money because he is working at a big law company.
One day a old man comes to company with gun. Michael is there six hours with the man. And at last the man is killed by police. After this accident Michael isn't interesting in his job at the company. And he notices something odd is going on. He leaves the company and starts working at a small law office. And he start finding facts of the odd thing that he noticed.

This book is a one of Penguin Readers Level four books and written using 1,700 words. Also this book is a retold version of John Grisham's The Street Lawyer.
After finishing the book I didn't feel satisfaction. I felt not enough feeling because the story isn't complicated. It 's because this book has only 16,500 words and original book has 97,759 words.

It is difficult to choose which book I must read between a long original story and a short retold story. If I read 100,000 words it takes more than 20 hours. And I need three or four hours to finish reading the retold version. But I recommend reading original version for this sort of novels if you can. I think the taste of a original writing is important for enjoying the story.

Today I ate a bowl of ramen, a Chinese noodle, at Kamata. The ramen shop that I visited have a long waiting line in front of it all the time. It have only ten seats. And only one man is serving all guests.
But there was no waiting line and some empty seat when I walked though before it. I was lucky because a long waiting line had been made already when I finished eating.

What is special about their ramen. First is the taste, of cause. And second is their style, maybe. You can choose some options by free when you place order. They are a choice between harder noodle or softer noodle, more vegetable, adding oil to soup and adding garlic.
I chose a more vegetable and adding garlic. A amount of vegetable was huge, like a mount, so you cannot see the surface of soup (look picture!). It contains cabbage, beansprouts, and garlic.

I needed long time to see a surface of soup and some meet. But I enjoyed the meal.



If you visit the ramen shop, do not forget to return a bowl to counter, clean a table and say thanks after eating.

This is the third Nancy Drew Notebooks story I had read. And I got lump as I was reading first time for this series. This story is a hart-warming story and has a different taste from other two stories I had read. I think you may also like it. It could be the best story in the series.

This is the first Sidney Sheldon's book for me. And I began to read this book at last Friday because he had died. This book is recommended as the first grownup's paperback among our friends because it is easy to read and fun. And now I realize it is true. The book is easier than Harry Potter volume one. Sidney Sheldon use easy words and short sentences. But he give us enough information to image characters in the book. It may be because he used be a famous play writer. And things happen quickly. In the first three quarters things happened as I expected. But the last quarter many things that I couldn't imagine happened. This might be a talent of this author.
I enjoyed the book very much. In fact I had read the book in eight days. It is the shortest period for this sort of fat books, not fastest reading speed, for me.
I want to read other Sidney Sheldon's books soon.

Bess and George are fighting because George seems lost Bess's favorite locket. Bess and George are the two of Nancy's best friends. Then Nancy isn't easy when both of them call her and ask her which side she is standing. She suppose to solve the case of lost locket and this difficult situation soon.

Nancy must be hurry to solve the problem because usually they three are playing together. This story makes the reader be familiar with Bess and George because there are much explanations about the characteristics and natures of both. This book is important as this mean even though the trick of the case isn't so interesting.
